M&E Capacity Assessment Of SAIH Partners

The overall objective was to develop a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework and implementation plan to be used for assessing and understanding the progress of the project outputs and outcomes. The specific objectives of the assignment were as follows;

i. To assess six (6) partners M&E framework where they exist.
ii. Identify M&E needs of each six partners
iii. Draft appropriate and functional M&E framework to some who may not have or all six (6) partners
iv. To develop individual partners M&E capacity building and support action plan

The methodology was participatory and used a mix of both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The consultant developed the capacity assessment form, which was used to document M&E facts for each partner. The consultant then held in-depth interviews with programme staff from all partners at their respective offices. The consultant sent draft reports to each partner for comments and feedback was incorporated in the final report.
